Hello, church family. Our care team is looking for two things: Donations and people to help hurricane victims. From Mrs. Jill, the following is a list of items we are looking for:
People to make brownies, cookies, Rice Krispies, dessert bars, slices of bundt cake, or any dessert that can be cut into a piece and wrapped into a baggie so it can be placed inside the container.
Paper towels
Toilet paper
Dish detergent
Clothes detergent
Black trash bags
Bar soap
Clorox wipes
Hand sanitizer
Bleach
Gloves
Masks
Diapers
Baby wipes
Baby soap
Promise books (look up a problem and gives you the scripture to read)
Clothing (must be separated by size)
ITEMS TO MAKE BLESSING BAGS
Gallon ziplocks
Gatorade/body armor
Protein bars
Granola bars
Gum
Nuts
Peanut butter crackers
Raisins
Dried fruit snacks
Chips/pretzels
Capri sun
Candy (non melting)
Activity pad/colors
Goldfish
Cookies
Apples
Mandarins
Hand written notes
Scripture cards/tear outs
Any individually wrapped snack
Of course, you can also give monetarily. This helps us buy styrofoam containers, plastic utensils, bulk food items (meat, buns, chips, rice, etc), and items not donated, 100% of funds goes directly to those affected by the storm.
We remember the words of Scripture: "This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, others will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else." - 2 Corinthians 9:12-13. Ultimately, whatever we do, we do for the glory of God that many may be saved.
You can bring the donations to the church or give online on our website. Remember to select "Ida Relief" or mark it in the memo spot. Also, if you would like to volunteer to go on the next trip do serve in an affected area, simply reply to this email and we will put you on the list.

Are you guys pretty well no I and unfortunately Tapped out on the money situation but I would be very honored to come and help with do whatever's needed help pack up go up there clean up & help with service while you're out there .
